Obroni Wawu - The Revival (2025)

Inside Kantamanto — one of the largest second-hand clothing markets in the world — traders, makers, and creatives navigate the devastating reality of fast fashion waste dumped from the Global North. At the centre of the story is Revival, a Ghanaian creative organisation recently named on the TIME 100 Climate list, who transform discarded textile waste into new fashion — an act of resistance, circularity, and hope. Raw testimony, stylised imagery, and on-the-ground observation combine to challenge the global fashion system while celebrating the ingenuity, resilience, and community at the heart of Ghana's upcycling movement. Shot in a single day in Accra.
