B2022 - Medal campaign

Every medal tells a story. These films tell two. Commissioned to document the creation of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games medals, we produced two short films uncovering the human stories behind one of the Games' most iconic symbols.

The first follows the Birmingham students who designed the medal — their vision, their process, and the moment their work became part of sporting history.

The second takes us to the manufacturers who fabricated it — the craft, the precision, and

the pride of bringing something extraordinary to life.
